Mardi Gras

Happy Mardi Gras from New Orleans! Our carnival parades weren't permitted to roll in 2021 due to the pandemic, but that doesn’t stop our spirit of joy. Our Fourth Church Sunday School students each created a carnival float to represent God’s goodness through a synonym. They also created special throws to show what God always provides in abundance! Here are some examples:

The Principle float has as its theme the story of King Solomon dividing the baby; so from this float, you can catch a frisbee of precision and beads of fairness.

And here goes the float of Life with Noah’s Ark catching inspiration on the waters.

And then there’s the Truth float rolling along with the theme of Daniel and the Lions’ Den where you can catch Mardi Gras cups with shields of Truth.

The Spirit float shows the feeding of the 5000 because our joy goes on and on! Happy Spirit everyone!

This float has a tableau of Soul-stories like the Good Samaritan.

And we made a video too!
