Psalms 107:1, 9 - Holy Bible King James Version
“To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings.”
Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures vii:1-2
by Mary Baker Eddy
Wherever you are in your spiritual journey, here you are accepted, respected, and loved. Explore our website to learn more about us, and if you want to feel the comforting support of a church community, join us at our weekly services online or in-person in Lakeview. Search the scriptures from a cozy chair in our Reading Room, participate in a discussion in our Time for Thinkers Book Club, or take a walking tour to discover our city’s Spiritual Roots. Be energized through our Sunday School activities, and become inspired by our history, including our restoration after the floodwaters of Hurricane Katrina. We are working together to love and bless all mankind, and that includes you!
Driving Directions: If you are arriving from the west (Metairie), we are conveniently located one block east of the end of Veterans Blvd. If you are taking the expressway, exit at West End Blvd, and then turn right at the first light which is Polk Avenue. We are on the first block on the right with parking behind the church.
About Our Services: We have felllowship and joyous hymn singing similar to other churches, but what is different is that our Pastor is two books, the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. We elect members of the congregation to read from our Pastor, and during our Wednesday service, we also include testimonies of healing shared by members and guests. Learn more about our Pastor and Christian Science in our Reading Room.
